The Boulder County Elections Division will conduct a Logic and Accuracy Test (LAT) on Tuesday, June 2, on ballots and equipment to be used for the 2026 Primary Election. The test ensures voting system equipment properly tabulates votes. Each type of ballot and all ballot styles will be tested to verify they are properly printed and read by the scanning equipment. The test will also confirm that scanning equipment settings are properly calibrated for the ballots. This event is to the public but RSVP is requested due to space limitations. Testing will take place in the Ballot Processing Center. After testing concludes, results will be available on our website. Members of the public can sign up to speak in advance or on the day of public comment. Public comment is taken in-person (in the hearing room) or virtually via Zoom. Children ages 3-6 will love to visit the farm to learn about animals, plants, and agricultural life. Come celebrate and learn about the winged and crawly pollinators that help make our garden grow. We welcome those who identify as LGBTQIA+, as well as allies, families, and anyone who wants to enjoy an inclusive outdoor experience. This will be a slow 1.5-mile hike on a wide, relatively flat trail. This free event is open to all ages and skill levels, and no prior birdwatching experience is necessary. You'll follow the journey of a ballot from when it first enters our processing facility through every step from signature verification through scanning and counting. During the tour, you'll get a behind the scenes glimpse into what it takes to put together a successful, secure, and trustworthy election. And you'll have an opportunity to ask elections staff questions along every step of the journey. The Ballot Processing Center is inside the main Boulder County Clerk & Recorder's office in Boulder. 1 event,Hybrid Meeting: In-Person and Zoom Webinar The county commissioners take general public comments on any matter not being discussed in another current public hearing process. Open public comment addressed to the County Commissioners typically occurs at 9 a.m. on the first Thursday of the month unless the date falls on a holiday or needs to be rescheduled due to a calendar conflict. Members of the public can sign up to speak in advance or on the day of public comment. Public comment is taken in-person (in the hearing room) or virtually via Zoom. Check the Commissioners' Advance Agenda to confirm meeting date one week prior to regularly scheduled date. Reserve a speaking spot using the either the "In Person" or "Virtual Attendee" link on the Commissioners' Advance Agenda. Day of Public Comment: Visit the Open Meeting Portal to find the link to join (or sign up to speak) virtually. Each speaker (up to 10 people) will be able to give public comment to the commissioners for three minutes each. Participants will not be able to screen-share but can bring printed materials in person.
