Parks Closing One Hour Early on July 4

All Boulder County Parks & Open Space trailheads will close at 7:30 p.m. on July 4, approximately one hour before sunset, due to elevated fire risk.

Left Hand Outdoor Challenge Applications Now Open

Boulder County teens can apply to be part of the free outdoor leadership program. Throughout the school year, participants explore Boulder County’s public lands while developing leadership skills through outdoor adventure, stewardship, career exploration, and hands-on team challenges. The application deadline is Aug. 12 or until filled.

Alternating Trail Use Pilot Project

A proposed pilot that would have designated certain trails for different uses on different days will not move forward based on direction from the Boulder County Commissioners.
