Sort Yards and Forestry Collection Sites
Boulder County has established Community Forestry Sort Yards – near Allenspark and Nederland – to collect logs, tree branches, yard waste, and noxious weeds from county residents. See Community Forestry Sort Yards of operating dates, locations and hours.
As a reminder, county residents may use the county’s and the city of Boulder’s year-round Yard Waste and Food Scrap Drop-off (fees may apply).
Wildfire Awareness Month
Activities during Wildfire Awareness Month each October teach residents about wildfire mitigation and encourage homeowners to take action to prepare for future fires. Find out more at Wildfire Awareness Month.
Wildfire Partners
Wildfire Partners is a new, voluntary program to help homeowners in Boulder County prepare for wildfire. Wildfire Partners provides a comprehensive on-site assessment of your home ignition zone including a customized report detailing actions you should take to ensure that you are fully prepared for future wildfires.
