You can complete most Recording Division services online or by phone. In-person service is available Monday through Thursday, 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. You can only get marriage licenses online.
Recording Division
The Recording Division is the branch of the Clerk & Recorder’s office that:
- Records real estate documents, such as deeds, deeds of trust, liens, and subdivision plats for public notice;
- Issues and records marriage licenses and civil union licenses;
- Provides recorded documents online, via phone, and email.
