Boulder County Air Quality Monitoring by Boulder A.I.R. at Boulder Reservoir:

Since 2017, Boulder County has funded an air quality monitoring study at the Boulder Reservoir. Monitoring tracks the presence of compounds such as nitrogen oxides, methane, ethane, propane, pentanes, and benzene and provides near real-time measurements of their concentrations. Air Quality Action Days

Stay up-to-date with air quality conditions in Boulder County. On an air quality action day, people with sensitive respiratory systems are encouraged to avoid exercising outdoors. There are also indoor burning restrictions in the winter. Colorado summers can bring ozone action days which can make it difficult for everyone to breathe.
