Assessor Overview
Every two years, the Assessor’s Office reviews and sets the value of more than 120,000 properties in Boulder County. Together, these properties are worth more than $120 billion.
The office uses tools such as maps, property data, and mass appraisal methods to study property values. A property’s value helps determine its property taxes. The Treasurer’s Office sends tax bills and collects the payments.
