Meeker Park closes Oct. 31 and Nederland closes Nov. 14

Boulder County, Colo. - The Boulder County Community Forestry Sort Yards program, a free log, slash, and timber disposal service, is in its final days of operation for the 2026 collection season. The Meeker Park sort yard closes at 5 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 31. The Nederland sort yard will close at 5 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 14.

You can drop off tree branches, logs, and forest litter (pine needles, pine cones) free of charge.

Meeker Park Sort Yard

• Location: 8200 Hwy 7, Allenspark
• Hours of Operation: Wednesday through Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
• Closing Day: Saturday, Oct. 31

Nederland Sort Yard

• Location: 291 Ridge Road, Nederland
• Hours of Operation: Wednesday through Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
• Closed on Wednesday, Nov. 11 for Veterans Day
• Closing Day: Saturday, Nov. 14
