In order to reduce wait times for the public, Boulder County Motor Vehicle in-person services now require an appointment. Additionally, annual vehicle registration / license plate renewals need to be completed out of office. Convenient options include online, by mail or drop box, or at a self-service kiosk. Pay close attention when searching online for motor vehicle information. Check the URL of the site to determine if it is a safe, official DMV website belonging to Boulder County or the State of Colorado. These safe, official URLs will contain colorado.gov, bouldercounty.gov, or mydmv.colorado.gov.
