Boulder Canyon Trail Closures Begin Monday, Oct. 7

A large section of the Boulder Canyon Trail will be closed Oct. 7-25, Monday through Friday, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. for repairs. The western end will also be closed 24/7.

Ron Stewart Preserve Closures Begin Monday, Oct. 7

Ron Stewart Preserve at Rabbit Mountain will be closed most Mondays and Tuesdays from Oct. 7 through Jan. 31 for elk management through limited hunting.

Boulder to Erie Regional Trail (BERT) Draft Plan

The draft plan is available for review and identifies a preferred alignment for an east-west multi-use trail connection between the City of Boulder and Town of Erie. Public comments on the draft plan will be accepted though Sept. 25.

US 36 Wildlife Crossings

Boulder County has started investigating the feasibility of building wildlife crossing structures on US Highway 36 between Boulder and Lyons. Feedback is needed to help determine the future of the project.

Stearns Lake Trailhead Closed

The parking lot at Carolyn Holmberg Preserve is closed for construction. Trails are open, but parking is limited.
