There are many places you can rock climb on Boulder County open space properties.

Important Rules

  • Commercial use of open space, such as guiding services and paid climbing expeditions, is prohibited
  • Installing or replacing rock bolts is prohibited
  • Dogs must be kept on leash
  • All other Rules & Regulations still apply

Where to Climb

The map shows areas where you can climb on Boulder County open space properties. The map does not show climbing areas on properties managed by the City of Boulder, US Forest Service, or other agencies. It is your responsibility to know the rules and regulations for the property you are on.
