Hall Ranch Trailhead Construction

A major construction project is underway at the Hall Ranch Trailhead. The entire parking lot will be closed Tuesday, July 2, and trails can only be accessed from the Antelope Trailhead on this day.

New Wapiti Trail Route Now Open

A new route for a section of the Wapiti Trail at Heil Valley Ranch opened on June 18. The new route was built to protect nesting eagles. The former detour on the access road remains open to pedestrians and equestrians.

Summer Issue of Images

The summer issue of Images magazine is now available. Articles include: Where to Go to Roll When You Stoll, Highlighting the Complex Relationships of Plants and Pollinators, The Enduring Power of Our Volunteer Naturalists, and Nature Detectives: How to Become Good Stewards or Guardians of Nature.

Weed Management on Open Space

On May 23, the Board of County Commissioners approved the Integrated Weed Management Plan with changes.
