Prescribed Burns

Prescribed burns will be conducted this spring as conditions allow. Burns will be conducted on agriculture properties, ditches, and the foothills. Smoke and flames may be visible. Please do not call 911 since a controlled burn is not an emergency. The areas will be monitored to ensure fires are completely out.

Youth Corps Hiring Adult Leaders

The Youth Corps is hiring Team Leaders and Assistant Team Leaders. Staff will work Monday, June 2, through Friday, Aug. 8. Positions are open until filled.

Spring Edition of Images Magazine

The spring issue of Images magazine is now available. Articles include 50th Anniversary: How Did We Get Here, Youth Corps LGBTQ+ Affinity Team, Weed Warriors, Watch Your Language, Nature Detectives: Spring Bird Migration and Nest Building, and Partners with Parks: Stewarding the Land and Building Community.
