Celebration of Mobility Heroes and Public Transportation Advocates Who Help Advance Transportation Equity in Boulder County

The Boulder County Mobility and Access Coalition (MAC) hosted a celebration luncheon in October

Boulder County, Colo. - The Boulder County Mobility and Access Coalition (MAC) recently hosted the Mobility Heroes Winter Luncheon, recognizing individuals making a difference in the world of mobility in Boulder County.

Our mobility heroes go above and beyond—whether behind the wheel, volunteering their time helping others, or promoting walking, biking, transit, and paratransit. These heroes are providing mobility solutions, and they are creating a more equitable, inclusive, and safe transportation experience for everyone.

About 60 guests attended the Oct. 15, 2025 event, including bus drivers, school bus drivers, volunteer drivers, dispatchers, schedulers, safety professionals, and MAC members. The celebration highlighted the importance of collaboration as a fundamental tool to advance equity, the relevance of effective multimodal transportation systems, past MAC achievements, and took a moment to recognize drivers and other essential transportation professionals.
