This event will have mini-skills clinics, route suggestions, bike decorating materials, and educational information. This event is recommended for families with kids ages 3 to 10. Free loaner kids' mountain bikes will be available, or you can bring your own mountain bike and helmet. Create your fishing dream team of one senior and one junior angler and come enjoy a beautiful fall morning fishing together for prizes and fun. Participants need one senior, 65 or older, and one junior, 15 or younger, to fish together as a team. Prizes will be awarded to the team that catches the heaviest trout, has the largest age difference, and are first to catch the limit. Drop by anytime between 9 a.m.-noon. The pond is stocked with rainbow trout; artificial and live bait are permitted. Bring your own fishing gear and lawn chairs for seating. On the fourth Saturday of every month, we invite local artisans to join the market for the ultimate local shopping experience. Their one-of-a-kind items include everything from artisanal body care products, to handmade clothing items and accessories, jewelry makers, and more. Longmont is the home of a lively music scene, and the farmers market is no exception. From dance-worthy drum circles, to string quartets and cover bands, there’s always something delightful to listen to as you shop and eat at the Longmont Farmers Market.

We're excited to host our next Birding Big Sit at Walden Ponds Wildlife Habitat! This inclusive trailhead event allows park users to both stand and sit to watch birds. Spotting scope and optics will be available to borrow and use. This is a drop-in event for anyone who wants to see birds. All ages and skill levels are welcome. We will be near the boardwalk by Cottonwood Marsh. Registration for most programs begins on the 20th of the month before the event.
