The CJS Jail Behavioral Health Teams provide a spectrum of services for justice involved individuals struggling with behavioral health needs. Services include assessment, case management, counseling, education, and linkage to supportive services in the community. Some of these services allow clients to be diverted from incarceration or other legal interventions. The programs serve different needs and work together to help as many community members as possible. Services are provided both in the jail and community with the aim of enhancing public safety and the wellbeing of the individual served.
