Subdivision (SD) Review

Subdivision (SD) Review

A Subdivision occurs when a property owner is approved to divide a parcel of land it into two or more building lots. There are three steps to the Subdivision process in Boulder County:

  • Sketch Plan
  • Preliminary Plan
  • Final Plat

Each step requires public hearings before the Planning Commission and Board of County Commissioners.

See the Boulder County Land Use Code for more information.
