Volunteer Opportunity at the Nederland Mining Museum

Application deadline is Friday, Aug. 30. Training takes place Friday, Sept. 13.

Boulder County, Colo. - Boulder County Parks & Open Space is now accepting applications for volunteers to work at the Nederland Mining Museum.

Volunteers welcome visitors to the museums, teach them about the mining history of Boulder County, and answer questions about the museum collections and the local area.
Training will also prepare volunteers to lead educational programs for organized groups, such as schools, senior centers, and interest groups.

Hours vary, but average between four and eight hours per month. The application deadline is Friday, Aug. 30. One half-day training takes place Friday, Sept. 13.
