Volunteer Victim Assistance Program

Become a Victim Advocate Volunteer

The Boulder County Sheriff’s Office Victim Assistance (or Victim Advocate) Program is staffed by dedicated and trained volunteer victim advocates. Through On Scene and Outreach programs, volunteer victim advocates:

  • Provide crisis intervention and referral to victims of crime and trauma.
  • Are trained to provide support, assistance, information and advocacy.
  • Act as liaison with the law enforcement agency.
  • Connect victims with resources available in the community.
