Program Summary:	Do you love sharing stories, talking with people, and have a passion for history? Volunteers are needed to help visitors explore and learn about mining history at the Nederland Mining Museum.
Duties and Responsibilities:	Welcome and orient visitors to the site Interpret objects and mining history Answer visitor questions regarding the museum collection and local history Provide information about the area and nearby open spaces Lead educational programs for organized groups, such as schools, senior centers, and interest groups
Qualifications and Requirements:	Qualifications Must be at least 15 years old (volunteers under age 18 must be accompanied by an adult parent/guardian during training and volunteer shifts) Comfortable speaking to a wide range of ages and audiences Must have personal transportation Pass criminal background check Time Requirements Minimum of two, 4-hour shifts, morning or afternoon from June—October Friday, Saturday, or Sunday
