New Advisory Committee: Emergency Services Grant Program

New this summer, Boulder County is recruiting for an inaugural 9-member Emergency Services Grant Program Advisory Committee. The committee will provide recommendations to Boulder County regarding the grant program portion of the Emergency Services Sales and Use Tax which was approved by voters in 2022 as "County Issue 1B" (with the first round of funding available this fall). Individuals with an interest in or experience with emergency services and rescue response activities are invited to apply for a seat on the new committee.

In addition to county residents with rural firefighting and outdoors rescue experience, the county is seeking individuals from the accessibility community and outdoor recreation organizations to help advise the county on how to distribute the grant revenues from the Emergency Services Sales and Use Tax.
