Docket DC-25-0003: Proposed Amendments Related to Minor Corrections, Clarifying Changes, and Updates to Comply with State Law
Board of County Commissioners Public Hearing on Proposed Land Use Code Amendments Scheduled for Jan. 15
Boulder County, Colo. – Boulder County Community Planning & Permitting staff are proposing changes to the Boulder County Land Use Code in Docket DC-25-0003: Text Amendments to the Land Use Code related to Minor Corrections, Clarifying Changes, and Updates to Comply with State Law.
The proposed changes address grammatical and clerical mistakes, update formatting, correct outdated references or terminology, and clarify existing provisions in the Land Use Code based on past application and policy interpretations.
The proposed changes will be presented to the Board of County Commissioners (BOCC) for review and approval at a public hearing on Thursday, Jan. 15, 2026. Public comment will be taken at the hearing. View the proposed changes in the Staff Report Packet for Docket DC-25-0003.

When: Thursday, Jan. 15, 2026 starting at 9:30 a.m.
Where: BOCC public hearings are convened in a hybrid format via Zoom or in-person at the Downtown Historic Boulder Courthouse, 3rd Floor, 1325 Pearl St., Boulder. View the calendar event for Jan. 15 to register to attend or participate online.
The proposed changes are for the unincorporated areas of Boulder County, not municipalities like Boulder or Longmont. Boulder County’s unincorporated areas comprise the rural, mountainous and plains communities that are not part of any incorporated municipality.
