Coffman Street Bike-n-Ride Shelter in Longmont Will Have an Extended Construction Closure

The Coffman Street Bike-n-Ride shelter in Longmont will be closed for a year or more while the Coffman Street Mobility Improvements Project is built.

A temporary bus stop will be directly across Roosevelt Park on 8th Avenue and Bross Street. The temporary bus stop will not have a bike shelter.

The temporary bus stop will continue to serve the following routes: BOLT, LD1, LD3, 323, 324, 326 and 327. A temporary RTD FlexRide stop will be located on the south side of Roosevelt Park on Long’s Peak Avenue at Pratt Street. The RTD Park-n-Ride lot at 8th Avenue and Coffman Street will remain open during construction.

To reach the temporary stops from 8th Avenue and Coffman Street, walk west through the Park-n-Ride and along the pedestrian path. RTD customers are encouraged to plan extra time to get from the Park-n-Ride to the new stops on Bross Street.

The closest bike-n-ride shelter is the Hover Street shelter near Oskar Blues in southwest Longmont. Check out the map on the bike-n-ride webpage for more information and location.
