Rebuilding

Flood-impacted residents of unincorporated Boulder County who have questions about the rebuilding process are asked to contact the Land Use Department. If you are the owner of a destroyed or severely damaged structure in unincorporated Boulder County (not in incorporated cites or towns) and wish to rebuild, please contact the Land Use Department at 303-441-3930 or floodrecovery@bouldercounty.org.

Rebuilding Considerations

Building

First, check to see if a permit is required for any repairs you are considering. The Boulder County Land Use Department issues Permits for unincorporated areas of Boulder County.

Septic Systems

If a septic system has suffered significant damage, check the Septic Systems page or review the SepticSmart Program section.

Wells

If a water well needs significant structural reconstruction or rebuilding, please check the Well Water Safety section.
