The Board of County Commissioners (BOCC) consists of three individuals elected to serve four-year terms as leaders of the Boulder County government. All three commissioners are elected at-large by the voters of Boulder County and represent the county as a whole.

Hybrid Meetings

County Commissioners’ public hearings and meetings are offered in a hybrid format where attendees can join virtually through Zoom or in-person in the Commissioners’ Hearing Room, Downtown Boulder County Courthouse, 3rd Floor, 1325 Pearl Street, Boulder.

To sign up for in-person public comment, please use the link in the advance agenda for each respective hearing. There will also be a kiosk located in the lobby of the 3rd Floor to sign up for in-person public comment. For questions regarding in-person meetings call 303-441-3500.

Support for Community-based Cultural Events

To request funding from the Commissioners’ Office to support a community-based cultural event, celebration, or workshop, email Gloria Handyside with the following:

  • A brief description of the event and how the funds will be used, including when and where the event is taking place.
  • Amount of funding requested (maximum of $5,000 per program/event)
  • How is the event related to racial equity?
  • How will this work help promote diversity and inclusion in Boulder County?
  • Is this a cultural event, celebration, or workshop?
  • Is this event free to attend, open to the public, and located within Boulder County?
  • Is the applicant/event organizer operating as a 501(c)3 or a not-for-profit community-based organization?
  • What is the proposed total budget for the event?
