Boulder County Housing Authority

The Boulder County Housing Authority (BCHA) is a long-term partner in the communities where we work. We are committed to being open and honest in everything we do. We build and manage affordable housing that is safe, high-quality, and reflects the needs of each community.

BCHA serves all areas of Boulder County outside the city limits of Boulder and Longmont. This includes Lafayette, Louisville, Superior, Nederland, Erie, and all unincorporated areas of the county.

Our mission is to make sure people in Boulder County have access to affordable homes and housing services. We also work with the cities of Boulder and Longmont to help bring more affordable housing to those areas.

Our Mission: BCHA provides safe, affordable housing for low-income families and individuals. We manage resources carefully and offer programs that support residents in building stronger futures. Through partnerships and services, we help families move toward financial independence and, when possible, transition from subsidized to non-subsidized housing. Our goal is to create high-quality, permanently affordable homes and connect residents with the support they need to thrive.

Our Vision: We see a future where everyone in Boulder County has a safe, affordable home. By working with the community and offering strong services, we help families create better futures.
