The Boulder County Housing Authority, or BCHA, helps people in Boulder County find a home they can afford. Everyone deserves a safe place to live that is close to family, jobs, and community. We build and manage that housing.
BCHA directly serves Lafayette, Louisville, Superior, Nederland, Erie, and unincorporated Boulder County. We also partner with the cities of Boulder and Longmont to bring more affordable housing to those areas.
Our 2025 Annual Report give you information on what BCHA has worked on last year. Right now, we support 2,056 residents across 39 properties. And we are planning new homes for our community.

The BCHA Board meets once a month. Meetings happen on the last Tuesday of the month. They run from 9:30 to 11 a.m. You can attend in person or online. Visit our website to see upcoming agendas. You can also learn what topics the board will discuss.

Through partnerships and services, we help families move toward financial independence and, when possible, transition from subsidized to non-subsidized housing. Our goal is to create high-quality, permanently affordable homes and connect residents with the support they need to thrive.
