Lotería

The Mobility for All program uses a specially designed, educational version of the game Lotería to make learning about transportation options more fun, interactive, and accessible to everyone. Loteríais a popular Mexican game of chance, similar to bingo, but it features graphics instead of numbers. Our version of Loteríafeature images of transportation modes, making it easier for visual learners and Spanish speakers to explore the mobility options available in Boulder County.

By bringing Lotería to public libraries, community events, and local businesses, the program creates a welcoming space for residents to learn, ask questions, and connect with services. It also helps train staff from local organizations to better support their clients’ transportation needs.

Community Needs Accessment

The Lotería program grew out of a 2015 needs assessment and follow-up focus group with Spanish-speaking residents, who emphasized the need for more transportation information in Spanish. In response, Mobility for All developed a Latino Outreach Plan in 2016 to improve access through intentional, community-based engagement.

Coming in 2026 – Game Night!

Mobility for All is excited to bring a new way to connect with transportation resources through a fun, bilingual game night. Join us for a fun Lotería Game Night at libraries, community centers, and neighborhood events across Boulder County.
