Stage 1 Fire Restrictions in effect for unincorporated plains areas east of Highway 93 (South Foothills), Broadway, and US 36 (North Foothills)
Boulder County Motor Vehicle offices are open Monday – Thursday, 7:30 a.m. – 5 p.m. Closed Fridays. Appointments are required for in-person services. Registration renewals need to be completed online, by mail or drop box, or at a self-service kiosk and are not an in-person service.
Please note that the Colorado Division of Motor Vehicles (DMV) is launching a major digital upgrade mid February. To complete this upgrade, all online motor vehicle services and MV Express Kiosks statewide will be unavailable from Friday evening, February 13, through Monday, February 16 (Presidents Day). Additionally, beginning Tuesday, February 17 some of the below services may require residents to establish an online account in order to complete the transaction.
