October Vehicle Registration Renewals Alert: If your vehicle registration is up for Oct renewal, the postcard will say proof of insurance required. For 99% of residents, it is not. We have it in our records. Try to renew online or other method first as you should be fine if nothing has changed with your car insurance. * A non-refundable fee is added to your total when paying with any type of credit or debit card. This Portal Administration Fee covers the cost of developing, maintaining, and enhancing the State’s official web portal: www.Colorado.gov. This fee is not charged for purchases under $10.00. (C.R.S. 29-11.5-103)

** Electronic checks in any amount are accepted for a $1.00 Portal Administration Fee. A $41.00 returned check fee will be assessed per state statute C.R.S. 24-35-114.
