Voting reminders, election security presentation, tours

Ballots went out in the mail last week. If you have already voted, thank you! This will be the last email you receive from us for this election. But, see below for event information!

If you did not receive your ballot yet, please verify online that your address is correct at: www.GoVoteColorado.gov. If it is correct and you did not receive it, call our office at 303-413-7740 between 8 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. to request a replacement ballot be mailed to you.

The last day for our office to mail you a ballot is Monday, February 24. After that date, you can visit any Voter Service and Polling Center to request a ballot in-person.

As noted in the voter instructions, unaffiliated voters were mailed both party ballots but can only vote and return one. If two voted ballots are returned to us, none of the votes/ballots can be counted. Please tear and discard/recycle the second unvoted ballot.

February 20, 5:30pm at Sanitas Brewing in Boulder (3550 Frontier Ave., Unit A). Open to the public. All ages welcome. Snacks/soda will be served. Beer available for purchase.

Election Open House / Ballot Processing Tours

See how ballots are processed, understand how signatures are verified on mail ballots, and learn about how ballot resolution works, among other ballot processing procedures and safeguards. Students are strongly encouraged to attend to learn more about the elections process. Tour and Q&A takes about 30 minutes.

Where & When: 1750 33rd Street in Boulder – Elections Division Ballot Processing Center (east side of warehouse entrance)

Friday, February 28, 12:30 p.m. – 2 p.m. with tours approximately every 30 minutes

Monday, March 2, 4:30 p.m. – 6 p.m. with tours approximately every 30 minutes

Know a 17-year-old?

17-year-olds who will turn 18-years-old by the General Election (November 3, 2020) can now VOTE in Primaries.

Have them visit www.GoVoteColorado.gov to get registered today!


Important Dates:

Feb 24

  • Last day to request a replacement ballot be mailed to you or register and still be sent a ballot in the mail. After this date, visit a Voter Service Center to register / get replacement ballot / vote in-person.

Feb 28

March 2

  • Ballot Processing Center Tours / Elections Open House 4:30 p.m. - 6 p.m. (RSVP)

March 3
Presidential Primary Election Day

  • Ballot drop-off and voting services available 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Ballots must be received by 7 p.m. to be counted.
