Veterans Stand Down Event to Take Place On Thursday, Nov. 17

Veterans who are in need or experiencing homelessness can connect with service providers for resources at event

Boulder, Colo. – Boulder County Area Agency on Aging and partners from across Boulder County and beyond are coming together for the annual Veterans Stand Down event to connect with, provide and discuss resources for Veterans in need or experiencing homelessness on Thursday, Nov. 17, 2022. Veterans experiencing homelessness of in need invited to attend the event at American Legion Post 32 in Longmont from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

  • When: Thursday, Nov. 17, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
  • Where: American Legion Post 32 (315 S. Bowen Street, Longmont)
  • Who: Veterans experiencing homelessness or in need
  • What: Bagged lunches and cold weather gear will be provided. Vendors will be onsite to assist with health and community service needs.

COVID and Influenza vaccines will be offered at this event. Public Health will also be providing at-home COVID tests and KN95 masks.
