Unattended Death Near Overland Road in Unincorporated Boulder County

Death is Considered Suspicious in Nature

Boulder County, Colo. - On September 14, 2024, at 9:37 a.m., the Boulder County Communications Center received a call for a possible deceased person near the 8000 block of Overland Road in unincorporated Boulder County.

The reporting party directed rescue personnel and deputies to the victim, who was pronounced deceased on scene. The death is suspicious in nature and is currently being investigated by the Boulder County Sheriff’s Office Detective Bureau.

Identification of the victim will be made by the Boulder County Coroner’s Office once positive identification and next of kin notification have been made.

The delay in releasing this press release was due to the on-going investigation, which included the execution of search warrants. No other information is available at this time, but we do anticipate additional information will be released as the investigation continues.
