24 year old male from Oregon located safely

Boulder County, Colo. - Boulder Police Department received a call from a concerned mother in Oregon about her 24 year old son having suicidal ideations. He was thought to be in the area of the 40000 block of Boulder Canyon which is in unincorporated Boulder County.

Boulder County Sheriff's Office Deputies as well as Rocky Mountain Rescue, Boulder Emergency Squad, Boulder County Emergency Services, Boulder Police Department all responded to the area. Drones from the Boulder Police Department and Boulder Emergency Squad were utilized to locate the male who was hiding behind a tree.

The male party was transported to a local hospital for evaluation. There are no charges pending in this case.
