Stuck off road vehicle assisted by Colorado 4×4 Rescue and Recovery

Boulder County, Colo. - On Monday, August 8, 2022 at approximately 3:45 p.m., the Boulder County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a stuck vehicle that was recreating off road.

Boulder County Sheriff’s Office Emergency Services assisted in locating the vehicle and getting the driver and his son to a main road where they were reunited with family. Over the following couple days plans were made to recover the vehicle which was close to rolling down the side of a mountain.

On Thursday, August 11, 2022 at approximately 8:00 a.m., Emergency Services personnel along with Colorado 4X4 Rescue and Recovery volunteers coordinated the vehicle recovery. The recovery process took approximately five hours.

Agencies assisting with the rescue included: Boulder County Sheriff’s Office and Colorado 4X4 Rescue and Recovery.
