Structure fire in BoulderCounty, Colorado

Single story home sustained substantial damage; no injuries

Boulder County, Colo. -

Shortly before 3:00 p.m. today, the Boulder County Communications Center received a call regarding a house on fire in the 600 block of Copperdale Lane, off Coal Creek Canyon Road in unincorporated Boulder County.

When first responders arrived on-scene, they found a single-story house that was fully engulfed with fire. The resident of the house was able to safely evacuate prior to first responders arriving on-scene.

The house sustained substantial damage from the fire. The Multi-Agency Fire Investigation Team (MAFIT) will investigate the cause of the fire.

The following agencies responded to the fire: Boulder County Sheriff’s Office, Boulder County Emergency Services, Boulder Emergency Squad (BES), the Red Cross, Nederland Fire Protection District, Coal Creek Canyon Fire Rescue, Arvada Fire Protection District, Timberline Fire Protection District, and American Medical Response (AMR).
