Senior Law Day Free Event on Saturday, Sept. 21

Event is free, but registration is encouraged

Boulder, Colo. - Senior Law Day helps older adults in Boulder County, and their family members and caregivers make informed, positive decisions about legal, and lifestyle matters through expert presentations, one-on-one attorney consultations, and interaction with subject matter experts.

This year’s free event features presentations on important legal topics including Medicaid for long-term care, estate planning basics, fiduciary responsibility and authority, scams and fraud, navigating caregiver and dementia, elder rights and abuse, and more.

When: Saturday, Sept. 21, 9 a.m.-noon (Doors open at 8:15 a.m.)

Where: Longmont Senior Center (910 Longs Peak Ave., Longmont)

What: Boulder County Senior Law Day is a free event providing education and legal resources ​to older adults and those who care for them. Doors will open at 8:15 a.m. to provide attendees additional time to access resources before presentations begin.

Continental breakfast will be offered, and attendees may pick up a copy of the Colorado Bar Association’s 2024 Senior Law Handbook at the conclusion of the event.

Our popular Ask-A-Lawyer sessions are also back this year. In addition, attendees can consult with Medicare Counselors and fraud/scam protection experts or take advantage of local experts hosting a power of attorney Q&A. Senior Law Day attendees can sign up for a free one-on-one 15-minute consultation with any of these professionals on a first-come, first-served basis.
