Paraglider Crash in Boulder County

32 -year-old male uninjured in paragliding crash

Boulder County, Colo. -

On Tuesday, March 26th, 2019, at approximately 3:01 p.m. the Boulder County Communications Center received a 911 call from a caller in the area of 500 Northstar Court, City of Boulder. The caller reported witnessing a paraglider crash approximately half a mile away in unincorporated Boulder County. The glider went down high up on the ridge in the area of Lee Hill and Wagon Wheel Gap Road. As emergency personal responded to the area the Boulder County Communications Center received a phone call from a 32 year old male who advised he was the person who had crashed the paraglider. He advised he was fine, not injured, and did not need any assistance.

Medical personal still checked the male and found that he was not injured. Boulder County Sheriff’s Deputies took a report to forward to the FAA,
