Outbuilding Burns on Nebo Rd

One Person Treated for Minor Smoke Inhalation

Boulder County, Colo. - On February 6th, 2019 at approximately 9:40pm Lefthand Fire Department, AMR Ambulance and Sheriff's Deputies responded to the 3400 Block of Nebo Road on a report of a structure fire. Upon their arrival it was discovered an outbuilding was totally engulfed in flames. The property owner said there was a wood burning stove in the outbuilding and that someone usually stayed there, however that person was currently out of town.

Firefighters were able to successfully extinguish the flames and all parties on the property were accounted for. The outbuilding was a total loss and one adult male was treated on scene for minor smoke inhalation by AMR Paramedics. Fire Investigators will be on scene in the morning to attempt to determine the cause of the fire.
