MEDIA ADVISORY: Presentation by SHIELD616 of donated armor packages to law enforcement

Boulder County, Colo. - The media is invited to attend the following presentation ceremony.

Who: SHIELD616, Boulder County Sheriff’s Office, Longmont Public Safety Department, Louisville Police Department and Loveland Police Department

What: SHIELD616 presentation of donated armor packages to law enforcement agencies

When: Wednesday, January 16, 2019, at 6:30 P.M.

Where: LifeBridge Church, 10345 Ute Highway, Longmont

Local civic groups, churches and individual donors raised the money needed to equip local law enforcement officers with the advanced safety gear. The non-profit organization SHIELD616 will be presenting 27 armor packages to Boulder County Sheriff’s Office, 23 to Longmont Public Safety Department, three to Louisville Police Department and four to Loveland Police Department.

A full armor package costs $1,500 through SHIELD616, or approximately $2,500 if purchased retail. The armor package includes rifle rated armor plates, a plate carrier vest, ballistic helmet and a trauma kit.
