RTD Zero Fare Ridership Changes
During July and August of 2023, RTD offered zero fares across its entire system as part of the Zero Fare for Better Air initiative. Overall, it was positive, as most customers appreciated the zero-fare period. RTD estimates that the initiative contributed to a 12% increase in ridership over what would have been expected without zero fares due to normal seasonal variations in ridership. See the full report here.

Learn about the Longmont Coffman Street Project!
The Coffman Street Mobility Improvements Project extends from 1st Avenue to 9th Avenue and will become a world-class and truly multi-modal corridor. The project includes robust public transit (local, regional and BRT buses), a near-term future transportation hub just south of 1st Avenue, strong bicycle connections to and from downtown, and better and wider space for pedestrians.
To learn about the project and upcoming construction over the next two years: Join us for a public meeting on Feb. 7 from 5:30-7:00pm at the Longmont Senior Center or click this link for more information.
Volunteer for the Shovel-a-Stop Program!
The City of Boulder is committed to multi-modal transportation, including year-round access to bus transit. The city’s new Shovel-a-Stop Program is an effort to increase the number of bus stops cleared after each snow event. Clearing bus stops helps prevent slips and falls and increases safety and accessibility for bus riders of all ages and abilities.
