Grass fire burns approximately 100 acres.

Wind Causes farmer to lose control of a ditch burn near 107th/Oxford Rd.

Boulder County, Colo. - On Saturday, April 6, 2019 at approximately 3:20 p.m., the wind caused a controlled ditch burn to become out of control. The fire burned approximately 100 acres of grass and a fence, which all belonged to the farmer conducting the ditch burn. The fire threatened the main house and some outbuildings on the property before the Mountain View Fire Department extinguished the flames.
