Female found deceased near Gross Reservoir in Boulder County

Missing Louisville woman found deceased

Boulder County, Colo. -

Early this morning, the Boulder County Sheriff’s Office received information from the Denver Water Board regarding a suspicious vehicle parked in the Osprey Parking Lot at Gross Reservoir, in unincorporated Boulder County.
After running the license plate of the vehicle, we were able to determine that the vehicle was registered to a missing woman who was reported missing to the Louisville Police Department on Saturday, December7.
At approximately 7:40 a.m. first responders mobilized and began a search in the area for the missing woman. Tragically, shortly after 1:00 p.m. this afternoon, searches located a deceased female in the area. Approximately 24 personnel assisted in the search and recovery of the female. The recovery of the female was completed at approximately 3:40 p.m.
Agencies assisting with this incident included: Boulder County Sheriff’s Office, Louisville Police Department, Coal Creek Fire Protection District, Rocky Mountain Rescue Group, Front Range Rescue Dogs, Boulder County Coroner's Office and the Denver Water Board.
The cause and manner of death will be determined by the Boulder County Coroner’s Office. The name of the female will be released by the Coroner’s Office. At this time, the death is not considered to be suspicious.
