Drowning

32000 Boulder Canyon

Boulder County, Colo. - At approximately 6:00 pm on August 7, 2019, Boulder County Deputies responded to the 32000 block of Boulder Canyon along with Nederland Police Department, Boulder County Open Space officers, Nederland Fire Department and AMR on a water rescue of a male party in the creek. A short while later it was reported that a 27 year-old male had been pulled from the creek but was unconscious and not breathing. resuscitation efforts were started on scene with the male being transported to Boulder Community Hospital where he was pronounced dead. The deceased’s name is being withheld pending notification of next of kin. There were no signs of foul play; any further investigation and official cause and manor of death will be handled by the Boulder County Coroner’s Office.
