Deceased male found outside a vehicle on the Peak to Peak Highway

Boulder County, Colo. - At approximately 7:22 a.m. this morning, the Boulder County Communications Center received a phone call via OnStar reporting an unknown medical issue by a client and requested a welfare check of the driver of the vehicle.

First responders arrived on the scene and located a 37-year-old deceased male outside of his vehicle in the 44,000 block of Peak to Peak Highway in unincorporated Boulder County.

The agencies responding to the incident included the Boulder County Sheriff’s Office, Ward Marshall, Indian Peaks Fire Protection District and the Boulder County Coroner’s Office.

The investigation into his death is on-going and the official cause and manner of death, along with the identification of the decedent, will be determined by the Boulder County Coroner’s Office. At this time, nothing suspicious is suspected in this death.

The associated case number for this investigation is 19-6524.
