Starting this Thursday, July 11, expect to start seeing county staff from the Transportation and Parks and Open Space departments walking along James Creek while they survey the stream restoration work that was completed as part of the flood recovery project. Over the next two years, we'll be monitoring vegetation that was planted to ensure growth and observing in-stream and stream bank features that were installed to make sure the restoration work is progressing as designed.

We already know of a few items that need work, so we have retained Frontier Environmental Services to complete this work and anything other maintenance that may arise. You'll likely be seeing their vehicles and staff along the road in a few weeks.

I just wanted to give you a heads up that you will see some daytime, weekday activity along the creek. Travel impacts, if any, will be minimal.

Please let me know if you have questions.

Have a good day.

Sincerely,

Andrew Barth
