Boulder County Parks & Open Space hosts Heritage Evening: Livestock and Petting Zoo

Boulder County, Colo. - Boulder County Parks & Open Space will host Heritage Evening: Livestock and Petting Zoo at the Walker Ranch Homestead on Saturday, July 27, 4-7 p.m.

Visitors can meet animals up close at a petting zoo, chat with costumed volunteers as they demonstrate chores and games of the era, and learn what life was like in the late 1800s on the ranch.

The event also offers a chance for attendees to try their hand at several activities. Kids can pretend to be a team of oxen and even design a brand of their own.
