August 28 County Commissioners Public Hearing on Vision Zero Action Plan for Transportation Safety
Attend the Thursday, Aug. 28, 2025 Board of County Commissioners public hearing virtually or in-person starting at 9 a.m.
Boulder County, Colo. - The Board of County Commissioners will hold a public hearing on Thursday, August 28, 2025, on the adoption of the Boulder County Vision Zero Action Plan for transportation safety. Public testimony will be taken at the hearing.
Boulder County's Vision Zero goal—identified in the 2020 Transportation Master Plan—is to eliminate all serious injury and fatal traffic crashes by 2035.
The Vision Zero Action Plan (VZAP) identifies and prioritizes strategies and actions for the next ten years to work towards this goal. The plan process included community engagement and a comprehensive technical safety analysis to identify overall crash trends and high-crash locations of focus, called a High-Injury Network, as well as identifying top crash types and speed management-related strategies to address systemwide.
