A 6-Year-Old Falls 40 Feet From Ski Lift

Girl Falls From a Ski Lift at Eldora Mountain Resort

Boulder County, Colo. -

On February 24th, 2019 at approximately 1:00 p.m. a 6 year-old female Boulder resident fell approximately 40 feet from the Sundance Ski Lift at Eldora Mountain Resort. The fall was immediately reported to Eldora Ski Patrol who responded and found the victim conscious and breathing. She was evacuated to the first aid room where AMR (American Medical Response) Ambulance paramedics responded and began treatment for possible pelvic and lower extremity injuries. After being stabilized, she was transported by AMR to Boulder Community Hospital.

The incident is being further investigated by the resort management and the Boulder County Sheriff’s Office under case report number 19-1074.
