14 year old female from Denver evacuated off Royal Arch Trail after experiencing medical problems

Boulder County, Colo. - On May 28, 2020 at approximately 1:25 in the afternoon the Boulder County Communications Center received a call of a 14 year old female have an unknown medical problem while hiking on the Royal Arch Trail.

Boulder County Sheriff's Office Emergency Services as well as City of Boulder Open Space Ranges, American Medical Response (AMR), City of Boulder Fire Department, and Rocky Mountain Rescue (RMR) responded. Both RMR and City of Boulder Open Space Rangers located her and provided her with initial medical care. RMR performed an evacuation of her with the use of a litter down the trail to the Blue Bell Shelter. AMR ended up transported the female to a local area hospital.
