The Boulder County Elections Division will conduct a Logic and Accuracy Test (LAT) on Tuesday, June 2, on ballots and equipment to be used for the 2026 Primary Election. The test ensures voting system equipment properly tabulates votes. Each type of ballot and all ballot styles will be tested to verify they are properly printed and read by the scanning equipment. The test will also confirm that scanning equipment settings are properly calibrated for the ballots. This event is to the public but RSVP is requested due to space limitations. Testing will take place in the Ballot Processing Center. After testing concludes, results will be available on our website. 3 events,Hybrid Meeting: In-Person and Zoom Webinar The county commissioners take general public comments on any matter not being discussed in another current public hearing process. Open public comment addressed to the County Commissioners typically occurs at 9 a.m. on the first Thursday of the month unless the date falls on a holiday or needs to be rescheduled due to a calendar conflict. Members of the public can sign up to speak in advance or on the day of public comment. Public comment is taken in-person (in the hearing room) or virtually via Zoom. Check the Commissioners' Advance Agenda to confirm meeting date one week prior to regularly scheduled date. Reserve a speaking spot using the either the "In Person" or "Virtual Attendee" link on the Commissioners' Advance Agenda. Day of Public Comment: Visit the Open Meeting Portal to find the link to join (or sign up to speak) virtually. Each speaker (up to 10 people) will be able to give public comment to the commissioners for three minutes each. Participants will not be able to screen-share but can bring printed materials in person. The Boulder County Historic Preservation Advisory Board (HPAB) is an advisory board appointed by the Board of County Commissioners to provide guidance to the county on historic preservation issues. Boulder County Clerk & Recorder Molly Fitzpatrick will discuss what categories and types of ballots are left to be counted in the immediate days after Election Day and how the process works. Additionally, the webinar will cover the election night results reporting process, results reporting schedule, watcher information, recount scenarios, and Colorado’s election audit (risk limiting audit). Join Boulder County Elections Staff for a tour of the Ballot Processing Center. You'll follow the journey of a ballot from when it first enters our processing facility through every step from signature verification through scanning and counting. During the tour, you'll get a behind the scenes glimpse into what it takes to put together a successful, secure, and trustworthy election. And you'll have an opportunity to ask elections staff questions along every step of the journey. The Ballot Processing Center is inside the main Boulder County Clerk & Recorder's office in Boulder. 1 event,Hybrid Meeting: In-Person and Zoom Webinar The county commissioners take general public comments on any matter not being discussed in another current public hearing process. Open public comment addressed to the County Commissioners typically occurs at 9 a.m. on the first Thursday of the month unless the date falls on a holiday or needs to be rescheduled due to a calendar conflict. Members of the public can sign up to speak in advance or on the day of public comment. Public comment is taken in-person (in the hearing room) or virtually via Zoom. Check the Commissioners' Advance Agenda to confirm meeting date one week prior to regularly scheduled date. Reserve a speaking spot using the either the "In Person" or "Virtual Attendee" link on the Commissioners' Advance Agenda. Day of Public Comment: Visit the Open Meeting Portal to find the link to join (or sign up to speak) virtually. Each speaker (up to 10 people) will be able to give public comment to the commissioners for three minutes each. Participants will not be able to screen-share but can bring printed materials in person. Public comments and applicable attachments can always be emailed to the commissioners at commissioners@bouldercounty.gov. |
