Hybrid Meeting: In-Person and Zoom Webinar The county commissioners take general public comments on any matter not being discussed in another current public hearing process. Open public comment addressed to the County Commissioners typically occurs at 9 a.m. on the first Thursday of the month unless the date falls on a holiday or needs to be rescheduled due to a calendar conflict. Check the Commissioners' Advance Agenda to confirm meeting date one week prior to regularly scheduled date. Find the link to view the meeting or provide public comment virtually on the Commissioners' Advance Agenda. Day of Public Comment: Visit the Open Meeting Portal to find the link to join virtually. Each speaker (up to 10 people) will be able to give public comment to the commissioners for three minutes each. The BORC Hearing on Feb. 5 has been canceled. A public hearing will be held before the Boulder County Board of Review to review the Wildfire Resilience & Ignition Resistant Materials, Construction, and Defensible Space updates to the Boulder County Building Code. It is anticipated that the committee will be making a recommendation regarding these updates to the Board of Boulder County Commissioners regarding their adoption. This update is needed to meet the requirements of the 2025 Colorado Wildfire Resiliency Code as approved by the Colorado Wildfire Resiliency Code Board. By statutory authority, the Boulder County Board of Review hears and decides technical appeals to the interpretation of the Boulder County Building Code Amendments, which apply in the unincorporated areas of Boulder County, not in incorporated cities or towns. The Board of Review looks at proposed building code amendments and makes recommendations to the Board of County Commissioners’ prior to adoption. |

The Boulder County Historic Preservation Advisory Board (HPAB) is an advisory board appointed by the Board of County Commissioners to provide guidance to the county on historic preservation issues. Its primary focus is to review structures and sites for historic significance and to review building or development plans which might affect these resources. HPAB also reviews landmark applications and must approve building plans which result in the alteration of an historic landmark.
